Enhanced Energy Healing with Reiki & Emotion Code Synergy

I often combine multiple modalities in my healing practice. Two of the most common are Reiki & Emotion Codes. Both techniques have unique strengths and purposes. When used together, they can complement each other to create a more holistic and effective healing experience.


Here’s a deeper look at how these two modalities work together and the benefits they offer:


Complementary Techniques

Reiki, a Japanese energy healing practice, involves the transfer of energy through the hands of the practitioner to the client, aiming to balance the body's chi and promote the body’s intrinsic healing mechanisms. The Emotion Code, on the other hand, focuses on the identification and release of trapped emotions. When combined, Reiki can support the process of emotional release facilitated by the Emotion Code. As trapped emotions are identified and addressed, Reiki may provide a calming and balancing effect, helping one to integrate these changes more smoothly while assisting with post-session processing.


The premise of Emotion Codes and the science of trauma’s effect on the body.

At the heart of Emotion Codes lies the premise that trauma and negative experiences can become trapped within the body. Scientists have more evidence than ever before that trauma is stored in somatic (cellular) memory. Similarly, perceived threats are stored in memory and the emotional centers of the brain, such as the hippocampus and amygdala. This can explain why a trauma trigger can create intense physical reactions and emotional dysregulation. In fact, sometimes our body is aware of a trauma even if we are not consciously aware. 


From an energy standpoint, trapped emotions, seen as energetic imprints, can govern how we navigate life, and how our brain processes and potentially impact our physical health.  The Emotion Code uses a form of kinesiology for identifying trapped emotions, which we then work to release the trapped emotions through energetic clearing. It's a careful process as each emotion is identified and treated individually. The art of questioning along with using intuition is a critical part to identify more information that may be helpful in finding the root cause. Sometimes we discover the emotion is genetic or that we may have absorbed the emotion from someone else.


Synergistic Healing


Many individuals who have undergone the combined therapy report significant benefits. Here are some common results experienced after using the Emotion Code with Reiki Healing:

One of the significant advantages of combining the Emotion Code with Reiki is the flexibility it offers. Practitioners can tailor sessions to meet the unique needs of each client. For instance, a session might begin with the Emotion Code followed by a Reiki session to balance the overall energy. Alternatively, both techniques can be interwoven within the same session, providing a seamless and integrated healing experience. The synergy between Reiki and the Emotion Code lies in their complementary nature. While the Emotion Code is precise and targeted, focusing on specific trapped emotions, Reiki offers a broad, holistic approach to energy healing. Together, they create a powerful healing dynamic that addresses both the specific and the general aspects of an individual’s energy system, which can lead to increased emotional regulation, calmness and potential reduction in physical pain or  symptoms.
